Gordon Sharp and "Moose" Collins started the group in 2006. They
invited friends, Phil Senseny and Bud Nellums to form the 4 piece group
that consists of keyboards, guitar, bass and drums. All members had
played together in different bands, but this is the first time for the
4 members to join forces for the Moose and Company Band. You can catch
the act around Knoxville on most weekends. Gordon owns his own
business, and plays the guitar, steel guitar and played in several
touring bands. He's guitar playing, pool shootin, firecracker Sharp.
Gordon has played for several well known entertainers and has been
friends with Moose for years. Moose is a Real Estate Broker and plays
keyboards. He started playing music while attending Carson Newman
College. Phil grew up in Vidalia, Ga where Moose first hooked up with
him while forming a road band to play the Florida Hotel gigs. Phil
decided to move to Knoxville and played with several groups in
Knoxville, Nashville and Birmingham. Phil plays the 6 string bass and
also upright bass and trumpet. He is the loose cannon of the band.
Bud grew up in Kentucky and is a maintenance technician. Bud has been
playing drums since age 15 and is the laidback, backbeat, cool dude of
the band. Bud and Moose played a house gig for a couple years and
finally got back together for the Moose and Company Band. Rick Irwin is a talented songwriter and singer and helps the band with the sound. Rick has a Recording Studio. Moose and Company play a variety of classic rock, blues and funky ole dance music. Check out our website:
